Tim & Faith's new video is fab!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything about Tim & Faith's new video Like We Never Loved At All. Love that he goes hatless. Love the setting, love the story, love her makeup and hair. It's all too, too fab!

On a side note, not so wowed by the new Big & Rich video for Coming to Your Town or Joe Nichol's Tequilla Makes Her Clothes Fall Off (despite loving that song!)

I missed Mrs. McGraw on Ms. Winfrey's show, but click here for a pretty good recap.

The Dixie Chicks Are Back!

Perhaps KZLA is more forgiving than other country stations, but they're playing the Chick's "I Hope" song from the Katrina benefit. Glad to have them back on the dial!

Let's just retitle this the John Rich blog...

Okay, it's officially impossible not to be obsessed with Mr. Rich. Riddle me this, why does Faith always look hot when photographed with Tim but all of a sudden turns into a big dork when posed next to Johnny Boy? Our Mr. Rich manages to drag everyone down to his subgeeky level. Maybe we're underselling Big Kenny -- perhaps if he were paired with someone else he might all of a sudden look like the hunkiest hunk to hit country music in recent years...

John Rich photographed hatless!

Thanks to Steph for finding this photo. Look, so much hair, who knew!

Chris Cagle is a very unlucky guy...

So he has record problems, voice problems, and now even more family problems. Here's a statement on his website: To All My Loyal Music Fans:

"As many of you are aware, I had been anxiously awaiting the addition of a new baby to my life. The baby has been born and both mother and child are in good health. Since the birth, however, we have discovered that biologically, the child is not mine.

As excited as I was about becoming a new father, my disappointment is equally as strong. So out of respect for all that are involved, please allow this situation to remain private and know that I will not be commenting further on this very personal matter. I'm thanking you in advance for your kind cooperation and understanding."

Congrats, Miranda. But what's up with your hair?

Just got a press release announcing everyone's favorite Nashville Star loser is getting another big break. Happy for her, but concerned about her publicity photo hair choice....

MIRANDA LAMBERT TO TOUR WITH GEORGE STRAIT

COUNTRY MUSIC SUPERSTAR INVITES 2005 TOP SELLING DEBUT ARTIST MIRANDA LAMBERT TO JOIN ’06 TOUR

Nashville, Tenn. (October 2, 2005) -- Epic recording artist, singer/songwriter and CMA Horizon Award nominee Miranda Lambert has been invited to join country music superstar George Strait for his 2006 tour of 25 cities in the U.S. and Canada beginning mid-January and running through June. As previously announced Mercury Nashville’s Tracy Lawrence is scheduled for the tour as well. A complete list of dates will be announced soon.

“I'm so honored that George would take a chance on a new artist like me. I feel kind of like the little girl who's daddy just said ‘I'm proud of you, you're gonna make it kid!’” says Lambert. “I’ve admired him my whole life and as a singer/songwriter from Texas - it is like winning the lottery.”

With over 62 million records sold and a record 51 Number 1 hits, George Strait is one of the most popular recording artist in history. He consistently sells out arenas during each tour and holds more than 20 attendance records including a single day record of 68,266 at a sold-out house at the Houston Livestock Show.

Throughout his unparalleled 24-year career, Strait has earned 12 Academy of Country Music Awards including 2003’s Gene Weed Special Achievement award, 15 Country Music Association Awards, four American Music Awards, and countless trade and industry achievements. Strait holds the career record for CMA nominations with 72 and is nominated again this year for the CMA’s Male Vocalist of the Year honor. He has released 32 albums - all of which have hit gold or platinum status. His latest release Somewhere Down in Texas, is in stores now.

Lambert’s album, Kerosene, earned a Number One country chart debut, accomplishing what only five other country artists in the history of Soundscan have ever done.  Yahoo! Music hosted the world premiere of Miranda Lambert’s new video “Kerosene” on Thursday, September 29 to rave reviews, and the third installment of an on-going USA Today feature hits stands this week.  Fans can also get a glimpse into Miranda’s personal life as well as what it is like to tour with Keith Urban by logging on to www.cmt.com and reading her Road Diary.

Better than Kenny?

From Page Six: RENÉE Zellweger called it off with hubby Kenny Chesney because, it seems, there was an other man. According to WWD's Aileen Mehle, Zellweger — just two weeks after dropping the bomb on Chesney — is already planning a trip to Ireland to visit her new beau, Irish singer Damien Rice. The star is fond of singers. Before she married country-music star Chesney, she dated singer Jack White for two years. Meanwhile, Chesney is said to have been shocked at his wife's demand for an annul ment. "Just three weeks before, they spent five days to gether and had a blast," says a pal. "He had no idea she was going to drop him." .
