Alcohol Good or Bad?

So everytime you turn around you're either listening to Brad Paisley's new single "Alcohol" or watching the video. Like so much of his work, it's catchy and clever the first time, but you eagerly tune it out after repeated exposure. Why is it that Brad's music doesn't wear well?
